Evonik Antwerpen has strongly
increased its visibility in the port of Antwerp. The main building, which
houses the management and the administrative departments, needed a
thorough facelift after 45 years of service. The concrete structure of the
building was kept, but both the offices and the outside walls were fully
renewed. The result is a fully renovated building, well insulated to the
highest energy standards and designed according to the latest trends.
The eye-catcher is the architecture of the front: with 116 LED-strips that
can light up in different colours, the façades attracts the attention of
people passing by at the Tijsmanstunnel-West. In this way Evonik fulfils
its performance pledge ‘Power to Create’.
